Welcome to Mellow Auto Rentals. By using our services, including submitting rental requests or making payments, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before renting a vehicle.

To rent a vehicle from Mellow Auto Rentals, you must:

Be at least 21 years old
Hold a valid driver’s license in your name
Provide a valid payment method (credit/debit via Stripe, or approved cash payment)
Have proof of insurance if not purchasing optional coverage

Vehicles are provided for personal use only. Commercial, rideshare, or delivery use is not permitted unless explicitly approved.
All vehicles are inspected and maintained regularly to ensure safety and reliability.
Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation after receiving your rental request.

Submitting a rental request does not guarantee availability. Availability will be confirmed by our team.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe unless a cash payment is explicitly approved.
Rental fees, deposits, and any additional charges will be clearly communicated prior to payment.

Cancellations must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to pickup for full refund eligibility.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may incur partial charges.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Cash refunds will be issued in cash.
No-shows may forfeit rental fees.

A security deposit may be required for some vehicles.
Deposits are refundable after vehicle inspection, minus any charges for damage or missing items.

Insurance coverage is optional and may be purchased during the rental period.
Renters without insurance must provide proof of coverage.
Mellow Auto Rentals is not responsible for accidents or damages not covered by insurance.

Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time and location.
Late returns may incur additional charges.
Returning a vehicle early does not automatically qualify for a refund unless approved in writing.

Renters are responsible for all traffic violations, parking tickets, and fines incurred during the rental.
Renters are responsible for any damage to the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear.
Mellow Auto Rentals is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred while using the vehicle.

Mellow Auto Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text "STOP" to the shortcode. Upon sending "STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text plan or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

SMS Opt in is used by Mellow Auto Rentals to send one-to-one informational and customer service SMS messages to customers who have voluntarily provided their phone number through our website, rental inquiry forms, or direct communication. Messages include rental inquiry, booking details, and customer service updates. Messages are only sent to users who have opted in to receive SMS communication and are not used for unsolicited marketing.
Our services are intended for individuals 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
